(take not I'm doing this will luaplayer .16)

Ok I decided I'm going to take some time off coding my game and work on polishing the graphics and what not, so I decided to start with customizing the eboot. I started simple and made my icon, download a program called "pspbrew". and quicker then you can say "Kentucky fried chicken" I had a new icon. Then I did the background pic... same thing, Flawless. Then I wanted to try and put in the music. This is where I broke into tears of frustration and agnoy at not being able to get a freaking .wav to convert to an atrac3  Evil or Very Mad   Evil or Very Mad   Crying or Very sad   Embarassed . Well I know of two general ways to convert a music file to atrac3 format
1. Download "Sonicstage" from sony and convert the music to atrac3, but for some reason every time I try and convert it, it always comes out as an ".OMG" format and not ".AT3" (Proabaly because it means "OMG IT DIDN'T WORK!!" Very Happy ), I've tried renaming it to ".AT3" and it still dosn't work
2. Download the atrac3 codec, and then use a general sound editor to open up your music file, and then re-save it in atrac3 format. The problem is.... Theirs no freakin option to save it as an atrac3!!!!! Mad . I've tried multiple sound editors (eg: Goldwave, wavepad, ect).

So I was curious, HAS ANYBODY EVER CONVERTED A .WAV --> .AT3 ???

(Oh and what are the maxium specs of the atrac3 format music that the eboot can play eg:kbps, filesize, ect)

I used the codec and Goldwave myself, when you want to save your file, select 'Wave' in the top box on the save dialog and scroll right down to the bottom on the second box and there will be three Atrac3 options.

Not sure about the kbps, don't think it matters. I'd try to keep it as small as possible, I seem to remember someone mentioning 400-500kb, but I could be mistaken on that.

yay I know I read where it seid select wave and then select one of the 3 atrac3 formats, but thats just it, its not in the list at all. I'm thinking it has something to do with the codec, where did you get yours from insomniac?
