I need help with my custom controller.

I need a program that will allow me to use button presses and combinations of button presses from the psp remote on a 1001 unit. I am doing this so I can make a custom controller for a certain game. If you can help me or point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. I do know that the cwcheat program has a remapper and I thought you could use remote input but I can't seem to get it to work, So maybe if there is a tutorial for that I could begin my project. I greatly appreciate anyhelp you can give me.
