Oh boy...
Look, I know a guy who nearly lost his hand modding a battery. This is not an exaggeration.
BE FRAKKING CAREFUL.
And if you think it's gonna be easy to convert it back you may want to take a long, hard look at that chip. The pins are about the width of a human hair and are very likely to pop right off the side of the chip. I'd recommend you not bank on being able to convert the battery back. Service batteries are cheaper than new PSP batteries....

whilst im at it, asking all the questions, out of curiosity what is the need of the service battery, could you get round this whole problem, if you just had the battery removed and plug the psp directly into the charger? could you install custom firmware that way?

The service battery starts the PSP in service mode. Since OFW won't run unsigned software this is the only way to run the program that upgrades the firmware.

I haven't heard anything about those yet, but the principal is sound. It would be the same as having someone software mod your battery from a CFW PSP. If the vendor is reliable then I'd say go with it.

Well, that means LuaPlayer is running correctly. Congratz. Make sure your 'script.lua" file is in the indicated folder and named correctly. Further LP questions should go to the Lua Help section of the forum. Good work getting your CFW installed.

Your script. lol LuaPlayer is just a program to run Lua scripts. I see you made a topic in the Lua section. See you there.

I need a suggestion as to how to emulate the same thing a CSS server does, but in lua, problem is im not entirely sure how the server works, if its just when a client connects through a port and its pointed to a series of files, I need suggestions.
