Hey all, this is just to maybe help Brad and I see what we should add to the site. See the poll for what you are voting on. You have a total of 3 votes for 3 things...don't mess it up
For the user ad system, please post as to the maximum you would pay. I was thinking something like .05 per view or .10 per click for a regular banner placed after the first post and at the top of the forums.
For the yearly plan, I was thinking something like $10 usd.

PS-Brad, let this run. We don't necessarily have to do it, but it would be nice to see if people would actually use it.

please don't spam up the site with ads and require people to pay in order to get rid of them. as long as we don't get viagra ads on every page of the site I'm cool with an ad about buying psp-parts here and their so brad can keep up the server.

As far as I'm concerned, they would just rotate off with the current google ads that the FORUM displays (as opposed to the ones built into the template)

Also, keep in mind that the site supports it self. It makes very little profit, and I mean like maybe 10 cents a month. This would probably help bring in more money to possibly (POSSIBLY) pay for more features, such as maybe a netlib host that would always be on as opposed to on someone's laptop.

Do you think a conscious effort of regulars clicking 2 ads a day might help? Because I almost never click on the ads.

like I said I'm all for helping the site, hell if you can made a type of click-ad near the top of the page I'd click it on every visit. I can't thank you more for spending your money on the site all I ask is that you guys just don't take it to far.

No, don't worry about the site.  We're doing fine.  I don't need "extra" money to keep the site going, the Google ads are doing it fine as-is.  Which is why I'm against putting up the "user ad" system.

Don't fraudulently click the ads, it's not fair to the advertisers.

Edit: The only ad that should show for registered users is one on the top, right?  (in the forum I'm talking about).  The in-between post ads should only show for guests.  If you guys see ads between posts, let me know; they shouldn't be there.

Oh, I thought all of the ads were for all of the users...which was why I turned them on. I'll turn them off, hang on
