I think Dark_AleX already did something like that, which you can check out on his site here.

Yeah, but that unfortunately only supports devhook 0.51Beta so I don't think it would work with devhook 0.52xxxxx. If you know how to make that compatible to 2.71 HEND it'd be very nice if you made it. Surprised

I don't think I have to make it, you'd just have to overwrite the old devhook files with the new ones.

Ok, I'll try as you said but I don't think it works because Dark_Alex made only dh0.51beta compatible to 2.71hend. But as I said, I'll try first and then I'll post the result here later.

edit:
Ok, so here the result:
X using devhook 0.52 on fw 2.71 with hend did work
X Booting firmware 3.11 with it did not work, maybe because of 2 errors which occured while decrypting the firmware with psardump

Soo, where's the mistake? I used Psardumper for 3.11 and decrypted the data.psar of the firmware 3.11, it worked, although in the end it said that 2 errors had occured. The resulting F0-folder was around 20MB.

Try doing 3.10 and tell me what happens with that. (And it would also be useful if you tried 3.30 too.)

I forgot to edit that one later, too. With firmware 3.10 it was the same, 2 errors while decrypting and later the devhook showed only a black screen before the psp turned off itself. Neutral

What I want is at least 3.03 (because a few new games need that), but the higher the better Cool
Anyway, atm only 3.11 is possible, but it doesn't work for me. (until now i hope ^^)

If you're desperate you can try using a previous working build of the program: such as this one.

Ok, I'll try that although I used psardumper last time so I don't think it's because of Devhook Installer. I'll try this anyway and report the result later Smile

edit//
Sorry if I didn't mention it before that I didn't usw devhook installer, it was a bit offtopic.
But it worked now! I used your Devhook installer 0.6f to extract the firmware 3.11 and then I used devhook 0.52 with devhook 0.51 Beta for 2.71 HEND to emulate 3.11.
Maybe it didn't work earlier because I had to extract the DATA.PSAR with a pbpunpacker (don't remember the correct name).

Big Thanks for devhook installer Sleepy! yay, got 3.11 now Razz

edit2//
Ok, I just want to add that I had to restore the settings to default because otherwise I couldn't use the internet browser. It's no problem, but I only wanted to say this because maybe you didn't know.

Devhook Firmware Installer updated to version 0.6i

Bugs/Issues have been noted and are being worked on, although it seems I'll need to rewrite the whole program from top to bottom.
