Yeah This game is good but no game can be perfect on 1st release. To sum everything up>here is what I would like to see in future versions:
    Difficulty Settings
    character animation
    Cooler Menu
    Cheat Codes Cool
Make the Birds Wave there wings

Glad you guys like it... as for the crappy graphics and no animations (apart from 1 which I figured if you guys spend all that money, it's earned;) the reasoning behind that is I wanted it to be as much like the original game as possible.  I wanted it to stay true Wink

Here's some screenshots of what the original looked like...

I really like this game. In my opinion the most fun homebrew game yet. With lots of replayability.

Very fun but it stillhas a way to go before it matches the original.
Are you working from original source or is it a visual clone?
The current difficulty is fine. There seem to be more hazzards than the original though. also i seem to remember having to work my ass off a lot more after gaining access to the bar. and needing to have a diamond ring to marry mimi. and condoms.

It's a visual clone, I left out some of the more adult aspects of the game though.. Wink
You still need the diamond ring to marry mimi too.  Apart from some sections of the bar that aren't good for kids to have in their games and that damn clover that didn't do anything... I've made it match the original game in every aspect

I actually emailed the original author of the game for the source so I could get the spawn rates % right but I never got a reply.

Well, You wouldn't do anything wrong if you make it better than the original would you?

Yeah I totally agree with that, I once got about 25 Squares full of hazards in about 15 secs lol

Thats why there are drills and buckets Razz  they don't break on you, the only way you can lose them is in a cave in Wink  beside the originals screen was bigger so it appears to be more, heh, I used to have less then I played the original again and thought wow, mine needs more hazards

Yeah, his site doesn't seem to be terribly up to date does it?
And in your game mimi married me the first time i went into the bar, before i got the ring. also it would be nice to keep the old values of $5000 to get into the bar and at least $20000 to marry mimi. i'm pretty sure the clover altered the spawn rates of both the hazzards and the ores. also is the pump in the game? I think in the original there was more of a payoff for using dynamite. i see you always find a gold nugget at the point of ignition but i seem to remember higher odds for the blast radius as well.
I have found one bug, when you try to move down or up a screen while there is granite in the way, the screen scrolls but the miner stays off screen. it should probably be so that the screen does not scroll when this happens.
I realise i am being picky here but i like things to be just right.  Confused

Anyway its still lots of fun, but i hope you can improve it. Peace out.

Yeah I checked out the code and messed up slightly where it checks your cash, had 1000 instead of 10000 (like the original game) for her to marry you... Wink Oh well that'll be in the next release, thanks for pointing that out to me

I'm pretty sure the original was $20000, and no worries. Smile
